2004
- HOWA’s first North American plant in Indiana established, begins sunshade production
2007
- American Howa Kentucky, Inc. (AHK) plant established in Bowling Green, KY
2008
- AHK begins sunshade and dash insulator production
- Howa USA Holdings, Inc. Sales and Research & Development office established in Novi, MI
2009
- AHK starts felt production
2012
- American Howa Kentucky, Inc. Ohio (AHK-OH) plant established in Delaware, OH
- HOWA begins supplying headliners for Honda program
- HOWA begins supplying parts for the Nissan Leaf
- AHK starts PU foam production
2014
- American Howa Kentucky, Inc. Mississippi (AHK-MS) plant established in Canton, MS
- HOWA begins supplying interior trim for the Nissan Murano & Titan
- Howa Mexico, S.A. DE C.V. facility established in Aguascalientes, Mexico
- HOWA begins supplying interior trim for the Nissan Frontier
- HOWA launches on-site headliner production at Nissan Canton facility as well as Nissan Cuernavaca assembly operation for the first time in HOWA North America’s history.
2015
- Howa Canada Manufacturing, Inc. facility established in Alliston, ON Canada
2017
- American Howa Kentucky, Inc. Georgetown (AHK-GT) plant established in Midway, KY

- Howa USA Holdings, Inc. moves into new building in Novi, MI
